Reservation types:
Immediate confirmation: This reservation type comes with an immediate confirmation from our system. After reserving, the client receives an immediate confirmation via email.
On request: This type of reservation is made in the form of a request and is confirmed or rejected by our colleagues within a maximum of 24 hours. The client will be informed as soon as possible about the availability via email.
Unavailable: If a certain type of car is unavailable, then the site will display accordingly and will not allow the car to be reserved.
Reserved car types: All confirmations will be sent on a specific car group and not on the car type. The car type shown in the reservation is only for example. The client will receive the type of car requested by reservation as much as possible . In case of unavailability, you will receive a similar car or if a similar car is not available, you will receive a superior car at the same rate.
Prepaid booking After the prepaid booking is made and paid the customer receives a confirmation directly from our system by e-mail. In case the reservation is on request and the car is not available, the money will be returned to customer immediately.
After confirming the reservation, the client can cancel the reservation with a full refund of the money less in the last 48 hours before the reservation. After this period, a penalty is paid that constitutes the full price of the reservation. If the client does not arrive to pick up the car, the entire rental amount paid at the time of booking will be retained.
Pay on arrival booking Booking For this type of booking the client receives confirmation by e-mail with the reservation details. No reservation or cancellation fee applies.
Amending a booking Once confirmed, subsequent changes to your reservation will not affect the initially accepted rate, only if the rental period is longer than the initial one. Changes are made only depending on the availability of the car. Age and driving license requirements To rent a car from Alana Rent a Car SRL, the minimum mandatory age is 21 years. For people who have reached the age of 21 but are up to 25 years old, an additional fee of 27 euros/day, maximum 135 euros/rental, applies. Renters and additional drivers must have held a driving license for at least 12 months. Copy of driver’s license, expired driver’s license or temporary driving allowances are not accepted.
Additional Driver The drivers mentioned in the contract are the only persons allowed to drive the rented vehicle. If an unauthorised driver is discovered driving Alana rent a Car vechicle the contract becomes void no refund is done for the customer and Alana Rent a car will need to charge all costs regarding this issue. Additional driver has the same obligations as the main driver. There is no additional charge for one additional driver. There is a 5 euro/day fee for a third additional driver.
Documents to present when picking up the carThe following documents must be presented when picking up the car:
-valid ID or passport
-valid driving license
-for rentals paid at the location with a credit/debit card, the physical card must be presented.
Payment Payment is made in advance when signing the rental agreement. The main driver must have a valid credit card, if applicable, but not mandatory. Credit card details will be taken at the time of rental. Alana Rent a Car SRL accepts credit/debit cards: MasterCard/EUROcard, Visa/Electron, American Express. Cash payment is accepted. Regardless of the means of payment used, Alana Rent a Car SRL reserves the right to perform any necessary checks and to approve or refuse the rental. The rental cost is calculated in EURO and collected in RON at the BNR exchange rate.
Prices do no include: fuel costs, fines received for violating traffic rules on public roads and all the costs resulting from the action of local authorities towards the vehicle which is the subject of this Agreement, during the rental. The full payment of these amounts falls under the Customer’s responsibility.
Returning the vehicle before the deadline In this case, no money will be returned to the customer.
Car delivery and return The Delivery and Return of the vehicle shall be made at the place, date and time agreed upon by both Customer and Alana Rent a Car SRL Agent. Alana Rent a Car r SRL offers you the delivery/return of the car for a fee (22 euros/rental/delivery – 11 euros/rental/collection) throughout the city.
The delivery and return service is “on request” and it depends on the availability of the Alana Rent a Car personnel from the rental office. Delivery and collection requests must be sent with at least 24 hours in advance.
Border crossing Rental cars are not allowed to cross Romania’s borders without the approval of Alana Rent a Car. If the border is crossed without Alana rent a car approval a 300-euro penalty applies. The countries where travel is allowed are Bulgaria (50 euros tax) and Greece (100 euros tax).
Other Charges .
Out of hours rentals No charges are done for outside working hours rentals. Our offices offer 24h service.
One-way rentals
Alana Rent a Car offers one-way rentals between all cities. Please consult with the Alana Agent to determine if a one-way rental is possible. Certain restrictions may apply. A one-way fee between 40 and 200 euro will apply.
Additional equipment When booking is made customer must inform which additional equipment needs . In case of damage/deterioration the customer agrees to pay the cost of the rented additional equipment.
Other surcharges:
– lost key or car documents: 100 EUR per item.
– excessive dirt inside/outside the vehicle or stained upholstery: 70 EUR
– loss or damage of registration plates: 50 EUR
Returning the vehicle, the return of the vehicle with a delay up to 1 hour from the time mentioned in the Agreement will not determine additional taxes. For a delay of more than 1 hour, there will be an additional fee equivalent to one day of rental. If the car is returned earlier than the agreement no money will be returned to customer.
Fuel the Fuel has to be returned same as it was taken. Otherwise, the missing fuel will be charged same price like the Fuel Station. No extra charge will apply.
Insurance The authorized client / driver is covered by civil liability in the event of an accident. The Customer is responsible for damaging or stealing the Alana Rent a Car SRL within a maximum amount (franchise).
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) For this type of package, a 590-990 euro franchise applies depending on the type of car for any damage to the Alana Rent a Car SRL car. A deposit equal to the franchise will be blocked by the customer in cash or on the card until the end of the lease. For this type of deposit Credit Card is mandatory. In the event of any damage, Alana Rent a Car reserves the right to partially or totally charge the deposit.
Theft Protection (TP) Accepted TP relieves renter financial responsibility for loss of or damage to the rented vehicle by or following theft or attempted theft. Both CDW and TP condition are applicable only if police protocol / accident report is presented. If not, renter will be responsible even if accepted CDW and TP for all damages to the rented vehicle.
Super Cover (SCDW) or this type of package the franchise is reduced to zero, the client being totally protected in the event of a loss claim and rent with a zero deposit.
Breakdown Client is provided with 24h assistance. If the breakdown is client’s fault, then the client will pay for the assistance. If not, Alana Rent a Car will pay for the support.
Very important Please note that in the unfortunate case of an accident, the Alana Rent a Car personnel must immediately be notified at +40733525262 and our colleagues instructions must be met accordingly. Otherwise, the customer will be fully responsible for the damage.
Smoking policy in Alana Rent a Car cars Smoking is prohibited in Alana Rent a car. Otherwise a 50 euro / rental fee will apply. According to the legislation in force, it is forbidden to smoke in the cars belonging to a company.
Car Cleaning At the time of receiving the car, it must always be received clean both inside and outside. For normal use, the car should not be washed upon return.
In case of excessive dirt that requires detailing of the car, a fee of 70 euros is applied. Alana Rent a car reserves the right to invoice this service to the customer
I declare the following: Personal Data By signing these terms and conditions, I expressly and unequivocally express my agreement that Alana Rent a Car SRL, in accordance with the legal provisions, will process and use my documents in any way. The registered information is intended for use by the operator and is only communicated to the following: company employees, judicial authority if necessary, police if necessary.
Geolocation We agree that Alana Rent a Car SRL will use geolocation data collection services for certain cars.
